Hackers who successfully breached Equifax obtained valuable personal information that doesn’t change. On September 7, Equifax disclosed hackers accessed names, social security numbers, birthdates, driver’s license numbers, addresses and credit card numbers in a massive data breach potentially affecting nearly two-thirds of the adult U.S. population. This data breach could potentially impact victims’ personal and financial information for months and years to come.
